Kla Project

KLa Project is a music group from Indonesia  which was formed by the Marcels , Lilo (Romulo Radjadin), Adi Adrian , and Ari Burhani in 1988. Name KLa itself derived from the initials of this band, while the use of letter “A” small aims to indicate the presence of two persons who have the initial letter. 

KLa formed by Katon, Lilo, Adi, and Ari in 1988 in Tebet, Jakarta. They released their first album ” Kla “in 1989 which scored hits such as Range Asmara , About Us , Time Remaining , and my song . In 1991, KLa launched his second album titled “Second” where there is a monumental track of Yogyakarta . While the third album (White Sands – 1992) they scored hits like Do not You Love and Soulmate Although it was music KLa Project ahead of his time, because the music is still popular with the rhythm of wilt, they managed to steal the hearts of many music listeners. They also have a fan base who call themselves KLanis .

After the launch of their third album, Ari Burhani out and switch roles as the band’s manager. KLa then walked with the formation of three people and incubate two albums, Purple (1994) and V (1995). In 1996, KLa Project held a concert titled acoustic grand Klakustik involving the supporting musicians such as Hendrik Lamiri (Violin), Budi Haryono (Drums), and others. The concert was held at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, which was broadcast by the Quiz, which they recorded live and released as a two-volume recordings.  In March 2001, turn Lilo  comes out of this band. However KLa still go on despite leaving only Katon and Adi . Then in 2003, KLa decided to add three new personnel, namely Erwin Prasetya  , Yoel Vai and Goro Day . Their name was changed to NuKLa . NuKLa had released one album in 2004 titled “New Chapter” with the single Let Me Worshiping .

In 2006, Erwin Prasetya decided to get out of NuKLa because of differences in vision. Shortly thereafter, Katon stated that NuKLa renamed the KLa Project . One reason is the difficulty of changing the image of the old becomes new KLa. In early 2009, KLa do a reunion album with a marked release of KLa Returns which consists of three members of their original: Katon, Lilo, and Adi. Some members of KLa Project solo career as well. Katon  has released six albums, Adi scored two albums, and Lilo just one album. In 2010, they re-released album titled Exelentia and sponsor single called Life Is Choice with 2 additional players.
